"Americanizing" the Natives
Glog assignment that touches upon the subject of "Americanizing" the Indians.
You can focus on one aspect of Americanization such as:
A boarding school (i.e. Carlisle School or Tulalip)
A battle (i.e. Little Big Horn or Wounded Knee)
A particular tribe (i.e. Apache or Lakota)
Government actions against Indians (i.e. Dawes Act or US v. Kagama)
Response to "Americanization" (i.e. Helen Hunt Jackson or The Meriam Report of 1928)
or you can talk about Americanization in general.
